Membership is on an individual only basis. The club can only operate for as long as it has people to run events, so there is an expectation that along with membership people will help out in at least one event per year. Membership runs for the calendar year from January through to the end of December, or any part thereof.
Membership Fee Structure
- $20 per adult
- $10 per child (school-aged or younger)
- Maximum of $50 per family (living at same address)

Orienteering Waikato Inc is one of many orienteering clubs in New Zealand. As part of membership of the club, you are in fact joining the New Zealand Orienteering Federation (The “NZOF”). For this reason membership details are forwarded on to the NZOF. As part of membership you acknowledge your right to obtain and to modify this information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.
Orienteering is a sport which relies heavily on landowner good will to allow us to orienteer on their land. Please respect them and their properties. If you open a gate, then it is you who must close it. If you accidentally damage anything then please let us know so that we can attempt to take care of it immediately.
